Instant Tarot 1111 · Veronica Damouni

I won't tell you your future. I'll tell you what I see.

Send me your question. I sit with your cards properly, on my own, with no clock running and nobody watching me think. Then it lands in your inbox, written out or recorded, within a day or two.

Eleven eleven

The number I kept seeing before I understood why. Now it's the name.

About the cards

If you've never done this, here's what it actually is.

What a reading is

Here is the part that surprises people: you don't have to be there.

You send your question when you book. You pick a time, and that time is when I sit down with your cards. Not you. There's no call to be nervous about, no camera, no scrambling to think of a follow up while I'm still talking. Within twenty four to forty eight hours your reading arrives, either written out in full with a photo of your spread, or recorded as a private video only you can see.

I do it this way on purpose. A live reading is partly a performance, and performing eats the half of my attention that should be on your cards. Doing it alone means you get all of it. It also means you get to keep it: read it again at 2am, watch it twice, come back in three months when the thing I said starts to make sense.

What you're booking is my time, not yours. Once you've sent the question, you don't need to be anywhere or do anything.

Why people come

You're at a fork

Two roads, and you've been going in circles about it for weeks. A reading won't pick for you. It's very good at showing you which one you're already leaning toward.

Something's off and you can't name it

You feel it in your chest and you can't put words to it. Cards are good at words. They tend to hand you the one you were missing.

You want permission

You already know. You want it said back to you by someone with nothing riding on your answer. That's not a small thing and I'm not going to pretend it is.

A year just ended, or one is starting

Birthdays, January, a move, a break-up. Thresholds make people want to look up and take stock. That's a good instinct.

You're curious and that's it

Completely fine. Some of my favourite readings started with someone saying they didn't believe in any of this.

You've followed the weekly readings

A collective reading is for everyone, which means it's for nobody in particular. Sometimes you want the one that's about you.

Where I land

I'm open. I pick up what people are carrying, and I always have. That was true long before I ever touched a deck, and for most of my life I had no idea what to do with it.

The cards gave it a shape. They gave me somewhere to put it, and a way to hand it back to you that you could actually use.

I've read for people who booked with their arms crossed. Some of them wrote back crying. But you have to be open and willing to receive, the same as anything worth doing. I'll meet you the whole way. I just can't go first.

The readings

Three ways to ask.

Send your question, pick a time for me to sit with it, and pay in one step. Your reading arrives within 24 to 48 hours. You don't need to be anywhere.

Three cards and an outcome

You ask one question. I draw three cards and a fourth for where it's heading, then write the whole thing out properly: what each card is, why it turned up for you, and what it means together.

How to ask a good question

The reading is only ever as good as the question, so it's worth thirty seconds of thought. Open beats closed. "What do I need to see about this?" will always get you more than "will he call?" Ask about your own situation rather than what's going on inside somebody else's head. And one real question beats three vague ones, every time.

What I won't read on

I don't answer questions about pregnancy or paternity. Not for anyone, not ever, and I won't be talked around it. Those are questions with real consequences and they belong with a doctor and a test, not with me and a deck of cards. Please don't ask.

Instant Tarot 1111

Every week, I read for whoever's out there.

Free, no booking, no sign up. It's just there when you need it, which is usually the week you need it.

A collective reading is for everyone watching at once, which is a strange and lovely thing to do. I pull for the room and let the room decide who it's for. People message me every week to say a card landed on the exact day they needed it to, and I've stopped being surprised by that.

It's also the easiest way to work out whether you want a reading of your own. You get me on video for free before you spend a dollar. If the way I read doesn't suit you, you'll know quickly, and no harm done.

About Veronica

I've been picking up on people my whole life. The cards just gave me somewhere to put it.

I was the kid who knew when something was wrong in the house before anyone said a word. I didn't have a name for that, and honestly nobody around me did either, so I mostly learned to keep quiet about it and got on with things.

I spent years working with people. Cosmetics first, then interior decor, and both of those jobs are the same job when you look closely: you're reading someone. What they're not saying, what they actually want, what they'd be happy with versus what would make them feel like themselves again. I was good at it, and it never once occurred to me that this was unusual.

The cards came later, and they landed hard. Here was a whole system built for the thing I'd been doing badly and privately for thirty years. Suddenly there was something on the table between me and the other person. I could point at it. They could point at it. And the thing I was picking up on stopped being a feeling I couldn't explain and became a conversation we could actually have.

I started posting collective readings because I wanted the practice, and because 1111 kept turning up everywhere I looked until I gave in and made it the name. What I didn't expect was the messages. People telling me a card landed on exactly the day it needed to. That still gets me, every week.

I read for people at forks in the road, people in the middle of hard years, and people who are just curious and slightly embarrassed about it. All of you are welcome. I'll tell you what I see, and you'll know within about ten seconds whether it's true.

Ask before you book

If you're on the fence, or you want to check that I'm the right reader for what you're carrying, just write to me. I'd rather you asked than booked something that isn't right.

How it works

Pick your reading, send your question, choose a time and pay, all on the booking page. The time you choose is when I'll be sitting with your cards.

Your reading arrives within 24 to 48 hours after that. Nothing to attend, nothing to prepare.

Questions

The ones people actually ask.

Do I need to be there?

No, and that catches people out. The time you pick is when I'll be sitting with your cards on my own. You send the question, and the reading comes to you when it's done. There's nothing to attend.

Do I need a question?

Yes. One for the emailed and the $55.55 recorded reading, two for the $88.88. The clearer your question, the better your reading, and it's the one part of this only you can do.

How long until I get it?

Within 24 to 48 hours of your booked time. Not instantly, because I'm actually sitting down and doing it.

Is there anything you won't read on?

Pregnancy and paternity. Never, for anyone. Those belong with a doctor and a test, not with a deck of cards, and no amount of asking nicely will change my mind.

Do I have to believe in it?

No. Some of my best readings have been for people who told me straight out they thought it was nonsense. You do have to be willing to hear it, though. Arms folded is fine. Ears closed isn't.

Will you tell me something frightening?

I'm not going to predict a death or a disaster, because that isn't what the cards do and it isn't what I do. If something difficult turns up I'll tell you plainly, and I'll tell you what you can actually do with it.

Do I get to keep it?

Yes, all of it. The email is yours, the photo of your spread is yours, and the video link stays live so you can come back to it in six months when it suddenly makes sense.

Is this the same as your Reiki practice?

Same person, different rooms. Tarot is an answer you can hold onto. Reiki is an hour of quiet where nothing is asked of you. I don't mix them unless you specifically want me to.
